We are looking for a decent boat ramp that is between Seattle and Point Defiance in Tacoma on the east side (the I-5 side) of Puget Sound for the R-25. We know about Des Moines and slinging in. Any good ones that come to you?

I just had the boat pulled at Pt. Defiance near the Tacoma Yacht Club. Nice wide ramps with broad docks and good surfaces.

It's right here.

My Puget Sound gazeteer shows a launch site at Redondo. Check it out on Bing photo (birds eye). I don't know how to transfer image to this site.

I use Redondo sometimes, and will be putting the Red Ranger in there at 1 p.m., Sunday.

It's right next to Salty's, which makes for a nice place to get some food and beverage afterwards if you're so inclined.

We've used Alki Point - good ramp at all tides -

Redondo is a good ramp but coming up here soon, they pull the docks for winter. I personally think the best ramp is Point Defiance. Up north its Alki. Not much to choose from on this side during the winter months.
