I cannot get my two fridges to run on shore power. They only run on battery. R-27 OB 2019 Any one have a suggestion to help me solve this issue. Thanks! First post still figuring out my UCP

Is it possible they're both 12v fridges? If so, they are always powered by the batteries. The batteries are charged by shore power when you're plugged in.

Cheers,

Bruce

Or is there a separate A.C. breaker that is off.

The spec sheet for the R-27 OB lists:
Refrigerator/freezer, galley, 12V (standard)
Cockpit Refrigerator, 12v (Additional factory option)

We've had 4 Ranger Tugs and our current boat is the first with an AC powered fridge. Icemakers have always been AC and are switched on the panel.

Cheers,

Bruce

Thanks for the information.I now see on the schematic that it looks like DC only. My previous boat had AC to fridge when on shore power. Wrong assumption on my part. I guess I cannot keep food onboard at the slip because the ABSO battery charger also does not turn on. First time it was ever turned on we heard a loud POP! sound and that was it for the brand new charger.

Have you checked the charger wiring and fuse?
