Ac running continuously

On my 217 RT inboard my ac never really shuts down when the cooling set point is reached. We are freezing while cruising in South Carolina. The display clearly show that the set point has been reached.
 
Check to be sure your a/c remote control is off if you have one. Sometimes they conflict.
