Accessing HDMI on vBerth TV

Has anyone been able to access the HDMI port on the back of the TV that is located in the vBerth (R31)? The TV is mounted close to the wall and there isn't enough room (at least for adult sized hands) to get behind the TV to insert the HDMI cable. Perhaps there is a way to remove the TV from the wall to gain access? The TV bracket appears like it *should* slide upward to remove the TV from the wall, but it doesn't budge and I can't see a release mechanism. Anyone solve this problem already?

I added a swing bracket for the TV. Allows mounting height to see better, access to back and electronics can still be accessed. Need to patch original holes- see radio sticker on big one!. And move lamp higher and to right. I posted a couple of photos.

I just did this. Our 2010 R29 has the same cabin. If you go into the closet, second shelf down or at the same height as the TV there could be a removable panel near the back of the TV. With a little effort you can see the back of the TV in the wall cut out. Not sure what TV you have but you should be able to plug in a 6 foot HDMI cable and then fish it out beside the TV. I then can plug it into my laptop and watch my movies. You could at this point unbolt the TV from the wall and add a bracket if you like.

The TV on our 2015 R31 does indeed have a release mechanism. Just slide a finger along the bottom edge of the the TV to locate the bracket lever and pull against the spring (R or L???). This will release the TV and it can then be pulled straight up to remove it from the bracket. Plug in your HDMI and re-attach the TV to the bracket. It's a close fit but no big deal.
