Accumulator tank installation on a 29

I know there has been a lot of discussion around accumulator tanks to dampen the hammering from the fresh water pump. I am strongly considering getting one for our boat. My question is, is there room after the pump in the salon floor and has anyone installed one on a 29? Any advice would be appreciated.

Aloha Jay,

Unfortunately I do not have a 29, but I wanted to chime in as I am installing one today for the very reason you are, I can’t stand the hammering. I bought the (2 Gallon Accumulator Expansion Tank With Wall Mount Bracket 1/2" Female NPT) pre pressurized from Amazon for $52, which is cheaper than the shark bite valves I wanted to use.
