Been doing some re-wiring, solar, LiFePO house battery, you get the idea.
The ACRs have a wire connected to them that appear intended to drive an LED as confirmation that the ACR is engaged.

On my R25SC, (2011 model year) that wire is in a bundle that goes 'somewhere' and following it looks difficult. Where does it go? If the boat has an indicator LED for the ACR, I'd love to know about it.

Thanks

Most likely that wire is the ground. ACR will not function without it connected.Facing the ACR it should be connected to the far left terminal. If your boat has a remote LED there will two wires connected to ACR (far left and far right connector.)

Correct. The two wires are connected; ground, and the terminal to an LED. I just want to know where the LED is located on my 25SC. It functions fine; I don't know where the LED should be.

If it is like my ACR's then the LED light is directly on the ACR itself

My question seems to be misunderstood. I know completely how the ACR works, and what the connections are for.
The question is regarding my boat (a Ranger 25SC), there is a wire connected to the LED terminal.

There must be an LED somewhere on the boat if they bothered to connect a wire to the LED terminal on the ACR.
