Adding second throttle control to a 27OB??

I was wondering if it was possible to add a second throttle control for the Yamaha 300 on the 27OB. I am considering adding cockpit steering/throttle control to my boat. Steering is easy, not so sure about the throttle.
 
If you have digital control box ( drive by wire, no control cables) It should be plug and play. I'm not sure if Ranger uses digital or Mechanical. I assume digital.

It is digital on my boat, guess I will have to do some more research. I assumed it could be done since it was "drive by wire" but I hadn't found anything. Thanks for the confirmation.
