My search light moves up and down but not side to side even though the motor can be heard to operate. I have tried to find instructions to fix this without success. Does anyone know where I can get instructions on fixing this? Many thanks. Michael Clark

I never use mine so decided to check it out today. The light works but none of the motions. If I push the slow button and then the side to side I can hear the motor for a couple of seconds and then it stops but no motion, just the noise of the motor. Nothing that I do gives me movement or motor noise on the up and down. I may pull it apart one day to take a closer look but I'm thinking that things may corroded inside the body.

after a lot of fiddling around I got my light to move the way it should. There are two small set screws that appear to locate the internal rod. It is trial and error to get the rod located (side to side) to get the set screws to lock in. I had to remove the bulb/lens in order to get the correct height so that the nylon gear meshes with the drive motor. It is an awkward and tedious process. It would be extremely helpful if there were instructions on doing this but all I could get was a schematic.
