I am interested in your product, Ranger Tugs do have a 'burp' problem when near full.

My question is: How is the funnel stored after fueling? It will have stinky diesel on the plastic. Is there a container or other way to contain the smell? Can the funnel be used with a pump that does not have an automatic shut-off? Can you hear the sound of the tank getting full?

We store our unit along with lightly used fuel wiper rags in a ziplock plastic bag. We keep it in the small cockpit locker in our R27 Classic.

I purchased the product last summer. It eliminated almost all foam up spills. I still have to fill slow, last 10 gallons for a top off but no spills in the water. I don't have a whistle devise installed but I can definitely hear when its ready to foam over and also gage it by knowing a close approximate to fuel needed. When I get to 10gallons before fuel fill I slow the flow down. It foams, let it settle, fill some more it foams ...... At least with the devise it doesn't spill over into the water. I think the devise would be mandatory with a nozzle without a shut-off. Clean way makes covers for all open ends. I stuff a couple paper towels in the clean way devise and install covers and store in a holder I made in the battery compartment. Honestly Fluid motion should include it in their diesel powered boat options list. Having someone sit in the port forward section of the boat helps too. I give the product 5 stars for my application.
