My aft bilge auto run function has stopped working. I replaced the bilge with the exact same one but the auto run function is inop. I can get it to run when I turn it on from the rocker switch but when I just dump some water and cover the bilge it doesn't run. Pretty sure I missed something easy but I cant quite figure this one out.

Any help or advice would be great. I have a 2018 CW 30 CB

Thanks

Did you also replace the sensor module / float? Or does yours just run every so often to check? Mine is the Johnson pump with a sensor in my 2016…

Are you sure it was the exact same? Our 2019 C30 has Rule 27SA which looks identical to the Rule 27S. Except only the SA model has the timer-based sensor and trigger, if I understand correctly.

Hi,
Had similar issue on my R-29 recently. Check the wiring. Not sure if you have the auto function built into pump or a external float switch. My pump has the auto sensing built in - so there are 2 positive wires coming from pump. One that goes to the rocker switch and one that goes straight to the battery source. Ensure that this wire is showing 12V. This was my problem as the fuse upstream was loose.

Where is the fuse for the auto sensing? Is it in with all the other fuses in the lower berth

I thought it was a 27SA but I'll check again. I may have a 27S....hmmmmmm

Look into the fuses in the 24/7 panel or at the batteries (depending on your setup).

I am not as familiar with the Cutwater, but on the tugs there was a cluster of in line fuses by the battery switches. That could have changed.
