Who has rigged their R23 for after market Scotty downrigger pads and plugs? My R23 has 30 AMP fuses on the forward fuse panel for downriggers but getting to the wires is nearly impossible. I'm thinking about rigging a terminal strip off of the house batteries with inline 30 AMP resettable fuses for the port and stbd downrigger outlets instead of having to run to the fuse panel. How easy is it to afix pads to the gunwales with backing plate? Any suggestions?
