Air Conditioner compressor

How do you access the air conditioner compressor ??

Two ways:
1) Clear out the cave and crawl up in it and remove a panel or
2) Take down aft panel on the port side of the cuddy. Once that is off, take out another panel that will give some access.

To see what the space looks like, look at the photos in my album here on Tugnuts. A couple years ago when my A/C was being worked on, I had an access panel cut that gives me near instant access to the compressor. The air handler is under the cuddy cushions.

If you need to remove the compressor it will slide out from the cave. You will have to remove the electrical controller box at the top of the compressor to clear the top though.
