Looking to buy R27
Discovered that a/c return in aft cabin has been leaking condensation and soaked it with water. I have found no thread on this issue. A quarter of a gallon an hour after I put a storage tote under vents. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I have an R31 that was without a drain hose to the shower sump. The tray was full of water and the mattress was soaked. I installed a threaded fitting with a tapered barb and ran a hose forward to the shower sump. Problem solved.

Ok. So there is supposed to be a drain hose connected to a tray under A/C? I did not know that. I will check to see the issue and post my findings. Thank you for replying.

The AC unit has a condensate drain pan that most likely has 2 hoses connected to it that drain it.

Recently on my new R-25, I found a significant amount of liquid in the drain pan that wasn't draining properly to the shower sump. Because of that, it was sloshing around underway and spilling over underneath to the berth.

So after pulling everything out of the aft cabin and looking at vent. I have some questions.
How do I access the A/C unit to see what the problem is? I have no idea how I would remove the helm seat.

Check underneath the seat pad for some hinges with screws that will allow the seat to hinge backwards or forwards. Attached is my thread from a couple weeks ago. Again this is for an R-25.... I think you have an R-27.

Yes, I have an R27 and I do not think my seat has hinges on the sides. It has a sliding mechanism that has screws that look almost impossible to remove. Thank you for replying.

I did get cover off bottom of A/C unit and poured a good amount of water into drip pan and it seamed to drain just fine. I must have froze up the condenser causing it to drip. I also called my salesperson to ask about how to access the A/C unit. He wasn't sure so he looked at the 2025 he has on display and sent me pics of what has changed. Obviously this has been a problem so they changed the vent/access location. I have to remove the microwave on mine.

Wow, I'm just noticing but it looks like FM has either switched to Velair or are offering it as an option.
