Air Conditioning Filter

Is their an A/C filter (air, like in a home system) that needs to be changed? If so, where is it?

There are one each mounted on the a/c units behind the intake in the cave , and also one on the intake in the cave. The filters on the a/c units are a plastic mesh type , and the one on the intake is a foil mesh type, at least they are on mine. I modified the air intake filter to be a disposable/replaceable type so I didn't have to mess with the filters mounted directly on the a/c units.
