Air-Dock boat lifts

Any body had experience with these at http://www.airdock.com/

I suspect the Marina authorities would need to approve of using one of these, right ?

We started looking at them because of stray electrical current in our marina affecting our zincs too much.

You definitely need advance permission from your Marina!

Our biggest concern was that we have to back into our slip and I don't believe the units can accomodate that, even though one company assures me it can.....The unit would have to be held down far enough to allow the prop to clear when backing onto the airdock. If you are pulling straight in there should be little problem.
