This affects Washington boaters. The RBAW has released the following alert:
(Pull quote) "Unless Boaters act soon, the proposed House of Representatives budget will move $9.8 million from the Recreation Resource Account (these are funds from the boaters' un-refunded gas taxes) to the State General Fund."

Boaters are urged to contact the Governor and their respective State Representatives and urge them to support the Senate's budget proposal as it pertains to the Recreation Resource Account, and not hi-jack those dollars for the general fund.
