I just found our next boat but I can't seem to locate one For Sale anywhere.
You can see the boat on YouTube, 1993 Murphy Boats 24 Alaskan boat Trader. This one was sold 9 years ago. I think it has an Inboard Gas Engine.
I would like to solicit your help in helping me find one of these boats!
I am interested in everyone's comments.

Please PM if any results.

My understanding is there was only about 10 of these made in the 90s and they were usually powered by a 4 cylinder diesel about 50-75 HP. Good luck on your search

Thanks, not sure why I thought they were Gas Engines, either way they look like nice boats. Did you watch the YouTube?

I have a friend in the Traverse City, Michigan, area that owns one of these. It is a very nautical looking craft and appears to be well made. I suspect there is a reason there were limited numbers of these built because from what he tells me it is not a particularly comfortable boat to cruise in, unless the water is very flat. A Ranger Tug has flatter chines in the hull which tend to eliminate the roll, apparently what this boat is best at. If we meet at someplace other than his home marina, he frequently elects to trailer it as much of the distance as possible.

You might want to look at some of Devlin Boat Builders boats, out of Olympia, Wa.
Two of my dream boats are the:
26 ft Tugzilla and the Josephine, a Alaska salmon troller converted to a cruiser.
As long as you’re looking !

Thanks for the reply.
It is interesting that your friend is located in Michigan because the boat I saw on YouTube, had a Michigan Registration Number. I would appreciate if you could ask your friend to contact me via PM or he can call me, (Pat 513 891 5112) I would love to have one of these boats, regardless of it condition! The Nautical Look is fantastic and the ability to trailer are high priorities of mine! .
With regards to the Limited Production Run. Its handling characteristics aside, I wonder if the manufacture "Murphy Boats" simply couldn't make enough money selling them at their Price Point.

I would like the boat to be Trailerable!

I have forwarded your contact info to him.
