Anchor Chain Size on R23

Hi Everyone,

I'm not on my boat but am looking to replace my current anchor chain on my R23. What is the standard size of the anchor chain on an R23 - 2019 and above? 1/4", 1/2", 5/16". I don't think it's 5/16".

If your boat came with the Lewmar 500/550 or 700 Series Pro Sport windlass then it uses (in stock configuration) 1/4” chain and 1/2” rode. Im fairly sure the 500/550 Pro Sport is what was installed on the R-23s.
It’s not until you get to the more powerful Lewmar 1000 Series Pro Sport model that the stock configuration windless uses the larger 5/16” chain with either 9/16” or 5/8” rode.
