Anchor swap

Any advice on how best to swap the anchor on my cw C-30? Current plan is to
Use the work float at my yacht club, but obviously concerned about it going in the drink…

If on the water I would let out enough chain and rode and carry it to the cockpit and then do the swap.

Step 1: get an appropriate length of line for your swapping location and fasten one end to your anchor and the other end to a convenient cleat on the boat or dock.

Step 2: remove the rode from the anchor and move it to where it needs to go safely.

Now that your drink is safe, have some.

On my C30 swapped for a Rocna 15, fits great. Did the switch on the dock and added a Mantus swivel.
