It is with some sadness that we are leaving the Ranger family. Since 2007, we have had a Ranger Tug, the Laurie Ann was a Ranger 25 and Andiamo, a beloved 2012 Ranger 29 was acquired to do the Great Loop. The unintended consequence of living aboard for 10 months was getting hooked on it. We told Jeff Messmer that he does not have a boat for us (yet). So Andiamo is in Anacortes with a broker because we have purchased a larger, single engine trawler that has more livability features. See the Ranger Tug for Sale Forum.
The Laurie Ann went to Tom and Pam Zimmerman in Michigan and re-christened her to Evolve. They cruise Florida in the winter. Andiamo is looking for her next owner who will hopefully love her as much as we have.
Our two websites, www.laurieann-ranger25.com and www.andiamo-ranger29.com, will remain up and maintained because they get so many hits and we will continue to answer the private messages that come our way. We are pleased to have been a part of the beginning of the Tugnut family and having a hand in the first rendezvouses in Bremerton. The Krogen-ites have much smaller gatherings. We are not going away, just going to another boat.
When you see Tribute on Puget Sound, cruising along at 7 knots and you get a hoot from our horn, give us a hoot back.
