I am trying to get the part number for an anode for my thruster. I will need an aluminum one.

We had a 2020 r27 and the thruster did not have an anode. I think it’s the same for newer r27 too.
R29 and 31 have anodes on the thruster.

There is no anode on the R27-OB for the bow thruster.

All the anodes, external to the Yamaha F300, on the R27-OB are listed here, with part numbers:

Thanks, I read a suggestion that that the thruster anode needs to be changed, That said. what protects the thruster for electrolysis

The diesel inboards boats have different thrusters than the R27-OB. Those thrusters require anodes. The 110TT Lewmar thruster on our boat doesn't. I would assume the material the prop is made of isn't subject to electrolysis is why there isn't an anode for it.

Thanks, it has not been a problem. I am just updating all anodes for fresh and brackish water

Having read that there were thruster anodes, I ordered a couple and tried to install...1770230098703.png
