Another excited new owner!

Hey all, we are set to take delivery on Thursday of a “new to us” 2012 R25SC. While “Midori” is new to us I’ve seen a few posts from her previous owner on here. She’s going to get a new name on our watch and will soon be known as “Kermode”. We’re making the transition from a Larson Cabrio 240, which we owned just long enough to know it wasn’t the type of boat we were after.

I’m looking forward to sharing our cruising experiences and drawing upon the collective wisdom of the group here!

Well, I’m happy to report that she is now tied in my slip at the marina. We are not wasting any time, with beautiful weather in the forecast for the next few days, we’re heading to Desolation Sound for the weekend. A bit of a “shakedown cruise” in familiar cruising grounds.

Congratulations! You will get many, many hours of pure enjoyment. And we are very jealous. You have Desolation Sound at your back door and the Broughtons one day’s journey north. If it weren’t for Covid we would be up there cruising now also. Maybe we’ll see you next year when (hopefully) the border is open. Get a cinnamon bun at Refuge Cove and we will enjoy it vicariously thinking of you. Enjoy your cruising!
