We have all looked for ways to store the (for lack of a better word) crap that you bring on board. The R-25 is very limited as to where you can keep things out of sight. We have found numerous ways to do so but still had things in sight that we did not want to be seen.
I started this project just after the first of the year and finally finished it today (did not know we were going to buy a foreclosure that would need to be gutted by yours truly in the mean time). We had always place the tackle box, 2.5 gallon water jug and heaters in the "well" below the v-berth. I got tired of looking at this and came up with a solution. I built a cover out of teak and holly. I had to install rails that would support the cover as well as the weight of someone standing on it. I think the finished product came out pretty well!
