Another version of Garmin rudder angle sensor mounting

Here is a video of the rudder sensor mounting on our C30, 2021. I am happy with the design of the mounting. If I had to change anything I would use thicker aluminum stock. I originally was only going to mock it up and then make the permanent mount out of heavier guage, but after getting it set up I found there was no deflection of the metel so I left it as is. If the alignment of the linkage was not perfectly level I would assume there would be some deflection.

My desire to have the indicator was not to know my position when starting out. It was to be able to see how hard the pump was working during hold heading in rough weather.
