Anyone having trouble getting a NEXUS interview appointment?

Exactly 1 year after applying for NEXUS in late June 2023, our applications were conditionally approved for us to schedule our interviews on late June of this year. I went immediately to schedule in Blaine, WA and the website would not let me schedule saying that appointments were booked until Oct 31. Since then, I have gone back on the website often and the appointments in Blaine are always fully booked with the date changing from Oct 31 to Nov 31 to Dec 31, and now Jan 31. I never get a chance to get an appointment and then the next month is booked. I have tried checking everyday and still never see an open appointment so I don't understand how they are getting booked.
There are appointments available sometimes at other border stations, but everything is very far away (flight, rental car, hotel stay to to go New York or Michigan).
I have both called and emailed NEXUS support and get the same answer that the website is the only way to book appointments and I just have to keep checking with no explanation of how each month is getting booked before I see it.
Is anyone else having these issues?

Appointments get added and people cancel their appointments. I was checking several times a day - annoying - but got an appointment within a week last year. Twitter - X - now has a bot that checks and reports appointment openings as well. Google: Bot Nexus Blaine and the link will show up. Good luck.

I accidentally let my Nexus expire during Covid and had to do what Nuka did - check multiple times and keep looking for cancellations. It’s much harder in Canada unless you are flying - where they can do it on the other side of customs in the airport.

We were in the same spot. If you are close to Blaine office then go and take a number. When called we asked the agent there to help schedule appointment. It was a few years ago but I think we got in later that day. Persistence works!
