A friend bought a new tri-axle trailer for his R27 Classic from Float-On a year or so ago. A snag with it is that the main bunks are not adjustable and his boat's hull rests on the edge of the main bunks and not the bunk faces. The set angle of the main bunks is not compatible with angle of the boat's hull.

All bunks on my EZ Loader are fully adjustable. A mutual friend's Float-On R27 trailer has adjustable main bunks, but his trailer was built 11 years ago.

The trailer manufacturer is helpful and engaged in trying to solve the issue, but my friend has a question for the group: Are the bunks on your trailer fully adjustable?

2019 EZ Loader triple for C-28 - all four bunks are adjustable.
2015 Tuff double axle for R-25 Classic - all four bunks were adjustable.

2010 Venture aluminum carrying R25 classic. Bunks are not adjustable. Made new bunks this year. It took a lot of time, construction of some templates, and final trim with a portable planer to get the angle right and a good fit. Adjustable is better IF THE HARDWARE for the bunks is strong enough. Previous trailer with adjustable bunks was very good and bunks were through-bolted to the angle shoes with recessed bolts.

2018 Ez-Loader triple axle for my 27OB- All bunks are adjustable, some easier than others.

What size are the bunks used for adjustable bunks? 2x6, 3x6 etc.
