As the Prop Turns Suggestions

First, I'm appreciative that you ask for ideas. We are new R 25 owners and rely on factory info for much of my work. I did the full winterization based on your videos and presentations! Thank you very much for those.

The Owners manual schematics make it hard to discern, for example, if black water is in front or to the side of the freshwater tank - there was a factory build video by Kismet but I would recommend some sort of video on exactly where everything is located - when you can't see it.

Any creative ideas to help with this would be great.

Here's a few ideas. I know most of the stuff would like more in depth and just as a reinforcement.

- getting most on fuel efficiency and getting boat on plane.
- maybe engine maintenance on outboards
- perhaps a hands on demonstration on winterizing.
- battery management
- recommendations on cleaning products
-- like what products to use on decking, railing, upholstery, cleaning the bilge,...

Battery/Power management and cleaning products videos already exist on Youtube.

A full maintenance on either inboards or outboards or both. For inboards, engine oil, antifreeze, transmission oil change.

I'd like to see one on trailering. As someone who has considered getting a tow vehicle and trailer, but doesn't have any experience with trailering, it would be great to have some educational content on this. It could include selecting a tow vehicle, selecting a trailer, trailer maintenance, how to launch and retrieve, trip planning and height restrictions, etc.
I want to pop this on top of the stack. Some people had bought their boats with trailers, but have no experience launching or retrieving their boats. There are a couple short videos on YT, but none of them go into detail. It would be good to understand the following:

  • how to adjust the trailer bunks/lift properly the first time and routinely
  • preparation for launch and retrieval - electrical, mechanical, plugs, valves, fuel/water tanks, etc.
  • aligning boat to the trailer during retrieval while in the water
  • how to tell the boat sits properly on the trailer crib before pulling out
  • strapping securing the boat/motor to the trailer
  • exact procedure to launch and retrieve
  • suitable launch locations around puget sound, payment process
  • trailer maintenance
  • hooking trailer to a vehicle, selecting hitch adaptor, leveling, EOH controller compatibility

How about a detailed video showing the process of making the Fluid Motion line of boats.
