If you get the autopilot option I would think that it does. Heck, the remote is the important part 🙂

Mine did.... but I warn you, don't use it... It will make you lazy. I was sitting at the helm last time we were out. I pulled out the remote and just sat back in the helm seat and navigated thru Camden harbor pushing buttons on the remote. It was very relaxing and I got a chance to check out the harbor without having to fight with the steering wheel. I only have 18 hrs on my boat and the steering is still a bit stiff, but it is settling in and getting easier. I thought having a remote for the autopilot was a bit gimmicky, but I like using it, even if I'm sitting at the helm. I am glad we have it.

My 2018 R-27/OB with the Yamaha F300 engine and Auto pilot (PNW Edition) came with the auto pilot remote control. The R-27/OB these days comes with the Suzuki engine so Auto pilot remote maybe different setup.

Follow-up. Looking at RT site it says a remote does come with the 2018 R27. So we'll see where it is come final delivery day.next week!!!!!!!!!

Ours was in the Ranger Tug bag with all the vendor manuals, along with the TV remote. Your dealer may put it somewhere different. Our dealer did take it out of the bag and put it in a drawer when we went on our 'sea trial' before delivery. He said he has had buttons on the remote get pressed while it was in the bag and had strange things happen when demonstrating the autopilot. 😱

I took delivery of a new 2018 R27 OB with the Suzuki engine on March 19th. I love this boat and have had no real issues with it. The support I have received has been terrific. It came with the auto pilot remote which works perfectly for me. There is a slight delay but you will learn to anticipate that. At higher speeds the wheel gets a little heavy so when cruising the auto pilot is real labor saver. Be sure to keep it away from the grand kids if you have any, unless you like surprises!

Enjoy your boat. I'm sure you ca't wait. Outboards rule.
