Hi,
I have a 2017 R29 CB. The Fusion radio went mostly kaput so Fusion sent out new radio under warranty, The original model was the 750 and they replaced it with model 755, which has the same front panel and connections in the back. I was able to swap out the radio but now I'm having a problem with the Autopilot and the Sirius connection. If I turn off the house battery and power back up, the Autopilot will initialize along with the chart plotter and everything looks good. The Autopilot shows up as a NMEA device along with the radio and Sirius. However after running for a few minute the Autopilot goes dark and I get the lost connection error messages on the chart plotter. I called Fusion about this and they had me turn uncheck the NRX Power option - but then the Autopilot doesn't come on at all. When I mentioned that I believe the Autopilot was powered by the radio (from posts here) he said that the radio wasn't intended to power the NMEA backbone, just a remote that they sell. In other words he couldn't help me. How do I fix this?
BTW all the software has been updated on all systems.
Thanks,
Eric
