I arrived back in the PNW last evening after having been gone for four weeks. I choose to spend last evening at the Hampton instead of on Board Karma as I shredded my Left ACL in Alaska last week while skiing.

Once checking the tides this morning I drove over to Karma. I did not want to risk the ramp on a low tide in the rain last night.....

After sitting all by herself for four weeks, Karma looked none the worse for wear. This was the longest time period that we have been away from Karma since taking delivery a year ago. I am currently awaiting Maureen's arrival from Seatac. Since our Dodge is a six speed manual transmission, driving it is out of the question for me for the next month or so.

Next week I will have surgery to graph a new tendon in place. I must get it done as early as possible to insure that we don't miss the boat show!

We are not sure of our plans for this weekend. A nice quiet night at Blake would be good. It has been a very hectic four weeks with a few more to follow. Obviously, we will spend next week in Vegas since I will be on Crutches for 7 to 10 days.

Hope everyone had a great holiday season! See you at the boat show!

Glad to hear that you're back on Karma... take care of yourself David! Hope to see you soon...

We will keep your surgery and recovery in our prayers. Heal well.

Perhaps I misunderstand what you wrote but if you have an anterior cruciate reconstruction and are tramping the docks at two weeks you will be a new world record- at least in my experience... First two weeks are usually spent in a leg immobilizer with the leg propped up in front of you... Next few weeks are trying to get the knee to bend past 90 extend to 180... And then the fun part begins...

cheers... Keep us posted...
