Hello all,
I'm looking into installing a my bait tank on the swim platform of our R23. Has anybody done this? The bait tank is a fairly small unit that has 4 molded in attachment points near bottom. I want to be able to remove it easily without anything sticking up on swim platform. My only idea was to install ''T'' nuts on the underside of swim platform and just bolt it down. Guess i would have to glue them in place. Anybody have any other ideas?
thx,mark

I purchased a round bait tank from West Marine. It sits on port side of swim platform. A round "foam" type cabinet and drawer liner plastic pad under tank to keep it from sliding around. Tank tied down with four 1/4" lines tied to docking cleat, dinghy davit, etc. One 1/4" eye bolt thru bolted to swim platform. Tie down lines attached to bait well via a 3/8" rope collar around top (fits snugly) of bait well. Replaced wash down pump with bait well pump as must run continuously. (Pump mounts have same hose connections and mounting foot print. Easy replacement) Y-fitting (plastic) w/valves at wash down hose attachment valve. One end of "Y" used for wash down. Other end attached to second (spiral) wash down hose attached to feed water inlet of bait well. You can supply water for bait well and still easily have deck wash down capability. Works great. Used last season. No modification to RT29CB's internal plumbing required.
