Baja Mexico

All,
Looking for anyone who has practical experience trailering their boat over the border and cruising in Baja. We are trying to plan a trip next Winter/Spring season when the whales are running.
I've driven, motorhomed, and flown small personal aircraft to Baja without an issue....so please no cautionary tales from someone without practical experience. Just looking for advice from those that have been there...done it.

Can't be specific, but I have heard mixed info. Primarily road conditions and safety. Since you have done it in an RV you may have better first hand information.

Trailering how far down Baja?

Our plan is to go as far as Loreto on the Gulf and back up the Pacific side spending time in/around Gueerrero Negro

I enjoy reading about this CBrat making a trip to and boating the Baja and other comments about the trip. Sounds like an awesome trip.
