Sounds like you saw the fam and I on Tug Dawg. We were headed over to Philips for dinner. Btw, it will be our last visit to Philips - overpriced and very mediocre.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I don't check the Cutwater forums very often. Now I know I should.

Hi and thanks for the response. Didn't realize I had posted on general technical forum! My 25SC lives in NJ (and is currently out of the water for the winter) but we know and love the Chesapeake having sailed our 45' ketch there for over 10 yrs. I am thinking about bringing THE LAST WORD... down next spring for a few weeks as I have 3 sons all in the area. Great place to live & play on the water! We should keep in touch. Have a good winter.

Powers That Be: As this thread is in the wrong forum, feel free to move it where appropriate.

Hi Bill:

Took a quick visit to your website - very impressive, I have some reading to do. 😉

Sounds like we have a bit in common in addition to the 25's. Grand Cayman is just about our favorite warm weather destination. While there last winter I rented a 20 foot bowrider and explored Stingray City and Rum Point. We befriended the local Natural Resource (or whatever they call themselves) policeman who guided us to a perfect anchorage next to the stingrays and he then gave my wife and daughter a hands-on experience with those amazing animals. The fun that day and the general boating experience helped in no small way to convinced my wife that we should get a boat. When I gave her the choice this summer of a small beach condo or a boat, she barely hesitated and Tug Dawg is the result.

What a great place to keep the 21!

Please do keep in touch and let me know if you come down our way next spring.
