Curious what some of you have done about a hard wired battery monitor that works for your set up? I have added Solar and have an AP on my phone for the state of my house, but I'd like to have a hard wired monitor for all to see in the salon, to show the SOC, Volts, Amps available, ect. Multiple banks would be a plus. What set up has worked for you? 2016 CB 30.

Love my new Victron system with Smart Shunt, Cerbo and a 5" display for our R31S. Great display on what is happening with Solar, AC, DC etc.

I like all the Victron battery monitor options as they give you choices on how to monitor your electrical systems. The Smart Shunt can bluetooth to your phone via the Victron App and does not require the installation of a physical display. This is probably the simplest and lowest cost option. But, as noted above, it can also output to a Cerbo display. There is also the BMV-712 Smart which has a bluetooth shunt and a round 3 inch display if you don't have space for the larger Cerbo display. I went with the BMV-712 for our boat because the Smart Shunt had not been released, but now would most likely just do the Smart Shunt with its bluetooth feature to the Victron App on my phone. I seldom look at the round display. The Cerbo would give you a way to see all your electrical inputs/outputs in one glance. Using the Victron App on your phone requires you to look at each electrical system (battery, DC-DC, solar, and Victron battery charger) on separate pages. But I personally enjoy using the app.

I'm a fan of the Victron gear. On a sailboat, we have the Ekrano display, which is the Cerbo and Cerbo display in one unit. The unit displays how power is being both generated and consumed. We have propane tank levels, fridge temps and water tank levels all displayed on the Ekrano. @Haifisch : Where did you install the Cerbo display on your R31?
