I wanted to post that I added this system to my 25sc, have had time to use/test it, and would like to sing its praises. The system is kind of like a cruise control that you have in your car. It's designed to hold a "running attitude" that you set in the memory as a Zero Point, (the best running attitude for given sea conditions or vessel load). When it's engaged it takes over trimming your boat and keeps it in this attitude regardless of weight shift, changing seas, speed, etc. I have to say I love the upgrade... especially on a small boat like the 25sc. The ATC is desighned to bring the vessel "back" to the Zero Point you have set in memory, not past it, so there is a delay between its corrections so that you don't feel it's "hunting" for the Zero Point like the auto pilot does at times. This is great for all around cruising! In rougher seas, however, it's better to be in full command of your running attitude and that's easy enough because the manual control for the trim tabs disengages the auto feature. Once you've established the Zero Point, it remains in the memory unless changed. This unit was very easy to wire, basically "plugged in", but did require some wires to be run to the helm. I mounted the control unit just ahead of the throttle, and mounted the sensor unit to the floor of the helm side "glove box" This system is the "second generation" ATC Bennett has manufactured.... So if you don't like fiddling with those trim tabs every time somebody moves, or when conditions change, this might be for good for you too.
