Greetings one and all,
We just completed a great trip to the San Juans staying at marinas. But we are are wanting to spend ten days or so later this month anchoring up in Puget Sound.

Is there a resource that folks here would recommend that has the best anchoring spots in the Sound? We have a Ranger 29-S, the Salish Searcher, with a 30-inch draft...and a dingy to take the two dogs to shore on a regular basis.
Thanks, in advance, for any help you can provide.

I like the gunkholing series. They are out of print I think but you can get them used.

You might also try the annual Waggoner publication.

Many of the navigation apps include Active Captain data that includes reviews of anchorages from fellow boaters. I use Navionics Boating. I find these reviews very useful in selecting an Anchorage.

The Dreamspeaker guide is good and beautifully hand illustrated, and written by sailboat folks with attention to anchorages in addition to marinas. https://www.dreamspeakerguides.com/puget-sound. +1 to the other ideas above, and you would certainly still want Waggoner's for all of its info.
