Bilge pump

So if the pump under the helm is the fresh water pump, then where is the front bilge pump at on a 25 ?

Just forward of the engine. Lift up the inside step . It should be straight down.

But that's the rear bilge pump right ? it has 2 bilge pumps right ? one rear and one front .

The second bilge pump is under the prop shaft just aft of the tranny.

There should be a second pump underneath the prop shaft. Just act of transmission.

It's a good idea to periodically run both bilge pumps manually via their breaker switches to ensure they are operative. An added check might also be to throw some water into the bilge to ensure the pump actually sucks it up and exhausts it correctly overboard. 🙂

I touch both dots on the sensors with my fingers to make sure the sensors are operative.
