We'd like to have a bimini with full enclosure installed on our Ranger 27. We love the look of the work from Island Time Boat Tops on Vancouver Island. Has anyone used them for canvas products? What did you think?

My Island Time Bimini with full side closures is the envy of every boater in every anchorage or Marina we visit. He does quality work and it is all but rigid enough to be mistaken for fibreglass. We often only put up one side of the enclosure to block the breeze - very versatile and in foul weather it's like doubling your living space. He is not the cheapest, and seems to need a little more time than quoted but on the other hand his work is second to none. We even leave the Bimini up full time, trailering many highway miles with no issues. Real nice to have only a pair of rear posts to support the whole enchilada.

I had a bimini done on my R31 by Peninsula Boat Tops of Sidney on Vancouver Island, 2 years ago. Laine Bennet has done a superior job and the top looks like it was built with the boat and in my opinion it blends in with the lines of the boat better than any other bimini I have seen. I did not have side curtains installed at that time but he made provision so they could be added later. Email is topman@sidneybc.ca

Thank you for your replies - they have really helped us.
