Has anyone installed a Bimini top? Was it easy?

Not sure what you mean by "install". Do you mean have one built? What model boat do you need one for? Do you have a frame and just need canvas or do you need a frame too? Or do you have a bimini top with frame and simply want to know the process of putting it up?

Today we went and looked 2012 25SC without the Bimini. So I would need a Bimini cover and frame. I guess my next question (or maybe the first question should have been) does each boat have to individually measured, or is the Bimini a factory standard item for the boat size?

Not sure what the pricing was for the Bimini canvas and frame in 2012 but the smaller Bimini used in the 2009 R25 Classic was priced at $2,340. Since the R25SC is in current production, I would recommend giving the factory a call and see what they would quote you. King Marine Canvas Products in Seattle, WA makes the Bimini canvas and possibly the frames as well for Ranger Tugs so you might try them as well.

We removed our tan factory Bimini canvas from our 2014 R27 in the fall of 2015 and had a new complete cockpit enclosure made. We reused the frame but have the tan bimini canvas for sale that is in great condition. Send me a PM if you are interested. Check with the factory for a frame and see if the canvas from our boat will work for you.

Scuffy, Thanks! but issue is now resolved.
