Black water vent odor filter

Has anyone added an odor filter to the black water vent line on a Cutwater 30, or similar which has the black water tank under the vberth?

I am struggling to find a good place to cut into the vent line and still maintain an uphill run to the filter.

I haven't seen the system on the Cutwater but it does have to be accessible, above the tank, and if possible close to where it vents from the boat. That is how I did it on our R27.
