We bought a 2014 used Ranger Tug 29 last fall. We brought all the loose cushions for the boat home and since our state is in a Stay at Home Order I am not able to go down to the boat. There is one cushion I cannot figure out it’s use so I took a picture and put it in my boat picture album. Can anyone tell me where it goes?

I was a bit confused about that one too. I think is is for when your dinette table is down with the cushion on it, you can use that for a leg rest- but I may be wrong!

Lots of views but only one opinion on it’s use?

We have one on our 31. Think it is for dinette table, do not know why the hump.

Yes, it is for turning the dinette into a chaise lounge. It goes under your knees. I think the back cushion, closest to the bulkhead should pull out at the bottom to make an incline.

Thanks, we knew it was an inside cushion because of the fabric.

I may be wrong about the back cushion pulling out since on the R29 that cushion is angled. On the R 31 it is straight and I think pulls out at the bottom.

No you are right our R29 back cushion pulls out to recline.

This sounds like a cushion that will spend most of it’s life off the boat as it seems like it will get minimal use and if used only one person can use it.
