Boathook storage

Does anyone have a suggestion for getting boathooks and nets off the deck? Are there storage clips that fit somewhere to keep the boathook out from underfoot -yet handy, on an R27 Tug?

I took the boat hook clips off of the factory position near the deck on the starboard coaming just below the cushion for the fold out seat - it was a pita to reach it there. I then screwed the clips underneath the cockpit overhang and now keep the hook up there, running fore and aft, it’s much handier.
