Bottom Paint Touch Up

I have a factory installed interlux bottom paint. I operate in fresh water and the bottom paint is like new. On the nose of the bow there is some very slight chipping from hitting some gravel last year. I was planning on sanding smooth and apply another coat to the area. Does this sound okay to everyone?
