Greetings;
We just finished 4 days in the boatyard working on our 2012 Ranger 27. The bottom was pressure washed, sanded and recoated with three coats of bottom paint. Why? Loss of speed, higher engine temperature, used more fuel and higher engine load. The underwater metal was primed and painted. The anodes switched out. The very badly oxidized hull was brought back to its deep blue. Though we had experience at this, we learned new techniques and used new products. See my website for step-by-step, products and photos:

We spent about $1,700 in supplies, materials, tools and haul-out and yard fees.
