I was looking to add a flir m232 to the boat. it came with radar and was looking to remove the radar and (if possible) use the existing power and data lines to install the flir. it seems it would re a royal pita to run a second set of cables - and I have had radar for 20 years and never use it.

Secondly I was looking for help on how to install a tv on the forward berth aft wall. I don't remember if 110 is nearby, and looking for mounting solutions - if available.

I only saw the boat for about 15 minutes and bought it at the dealer who is going to lay it up until next spring - when I will take it out from there.

any help would be appreciated, and I did search the forums (I know people can get testy about not doing so before posting) and did not run across either answer.

thanks very much for reading and or responding.

I can’t offer any advice about the radar, however that is one option I wish I had added to my r23. My fuse panel is pre wired for a radar with a 7.5 amp fuse if that helps you in any way.
There is a twelve volt as well as a residential style110 outlet located below and aft of the v berth sink. It’s hidden a bit but easily close enough to reach a tv on the port side of v berth.

If I pull the new radar I will be selling it, if you are pre wired I will let it go cheap. Thx

Great! Let me know when your selling it. I am certainly interested.

On my 2021 R-23, the radar power wire terminated behind the cabinet. That was the extent of the “pre-wiring”. You still have to run power and Garmin Marine Network cables to the mast.
