For those of you who replaced your bow roller, how did you get the old one off?
Mine is sealed with what looks like 3m 4200 or Sikaflex. Heat gun?
Thanks.

My neighbor hit my boat while docking and bent the bow roller. Boater submitted a insurance claim and now waiting for Marina tech to replace it. I'll let you know it goes.

Mine was just 4 bolts accessed through the anchor locker. No sealant. I have a 2017 C-28. I replaced with a Kingston Bow Roller made specifically for the Rocna anchor. Super easy job. Removal and replacement in under an hour.
I imagine every model and vintage of boat could have the bow roller mounted differently. A 2007 R-21 might be different than a new 2025 C-32CB. What model and year is your boat?

I have the R43. Turns out the sealant just gave way on its own after I loosened the bolts— came back the next weekend and it came right off.

The Marina tech removed the old bow roller pretty easy. He didn't go into details but said was easy Three bolts. Replaced with new Lexmar model. Good as new.
