bow thruster remote receiver unit

Hello All,

I had to have an electrical relay on the motor of my Side Power bow thruster replaced on my 2015 R-25 SC. But now the radio remote thruster control fob won't work.The lights light up on the remote unit when I pressthe two t "on" buttons. (I'm going to replace the batteries anyway) The joy sticks work fine and the thruster works.

Apparently the remote connection was lost during the r/r. Side Power manual says there is a reset/program button on the remote receiver unit. The question is where is this remote receiver unit located in the R25? It has to be located somewhere 3 feet above the waterline according to the manual. Not sure where to look for it. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi there,

You should be able to find the remote unit inside the box that the throttle is mounted on. You should be able to access it by removing the little triangular corners of the joystick panel and then removing the screws underneath. That will allow you to pull that panel and look inside to see the receiver. Hope this helps.
