Bow thruster shear pin

Am I able to replace the shear pin while the boat is in the lift from my dinghy?

The bow thruster shear pin is accessed from inside the boat, and can be performed with the boat in the water. Same goes for stern shear pin.

It helps if you are 30 or younger and are very, very flexible.

You can replace the factory pin with a steel untreatable pin so you only have to do it once.

Beware, the hub may break before the pin fails. Test it when you replace the pin.
