We want to let all of the Tugnuts on the Desolation Sound cruise know how much we appreciate the assistance that came our way after I fell at Gorge Harbor. From bringing ice packs and meds to carrying me back onto the boat, to doing medical assessments of my needs, you name it, the help and expertise was there, and we are so grateful. I was taken by ambulance to the hospital at Campbell River after being met and assessed by the Coast Guard. Xrays show at least three fractures and the need for surgery, so we are headed home, and the boat is a surprisingly comfortable place to be. I am comfortable and Dan is doing everything to keep me that way, we hope to be home by Sunday. Yesterday, we traveled part way with Bella Luna until the going got too rough. we plan to be in Bellingham by Sunday where the truck and trailer, and our son in law with a wheel chair, will be waiting for us. then, it is home, and lots of medical care. I am making the Rendezvous a goal, and hope to see you all there. Again, thanks for your care. Ranger Tug and Cutwater people are just the best!

Oh my goodness Lois! So glad you're ok and here's to hoping we see you at the September Rendezvous!

My goodness Lois… please take care… such a shame you had this fall on such a cruise and gathering… Where did you fall or trip over at Gorge Harbour ?… I know the pathways to/from the docks are kind of steep… maybe you stepped on the pathway edge and lost balance.

Have a safe trip home and make your goal to meet all of us in early Sep for the Rendezvous at Cap Sante.
