Greetings;
We keep Trilogy, a classic Ranger 27, on its trailer on the east coast to explore and re-do parts of the Great Loop that we did in 2014 using Andiamo, a Ranger 29. Yes, we are a bit ashamed to say that we live on our boat in Puget Sound, WA and have an east coast boat. This has been a great experience and the R27 is perfect for us having cruised Florida, Chattanooga to Mobile, the historic canals of Canada and New England, and Chesapeake Bay. (See www.tribute-kadeykrogen39.com and the Trilogy page)

For a year now, we have kept Trilogy in Brunswick, Georgia at an RV storage yard, called Exit 29 Storage. This week we dodged Hurricane Dorian, the winds at the storage yard were less than thunderstorms. We took the advice of seasoned boaters, Paul & Stacy Brannon, who recommended Brunswick as an historical hurricane hole. We also found that the geographical location of the storage yard seems to be great: out of the flood plain (there is a fire station close by) and is 15 miles from shore.

However, we need a backup plan to move the boat if the big storm is going to hit Brunswick directly. Now, we are asking for the assistance of Tugnuts: Is there a Tugnut who lives in the Brunswick region who could be available and willing to move our boat out of harm's way? Or, is their a specific business or resource that we could inquire? Feel free to send a PM.

I think you’re out of danger by now.
